TMEIC Hosts MV Motors and Variable Frequency Drive Technical Seminars

Engineers condense popular MV Systems School syllabus to create unique daylong sessions.

ROANOKE, Va. (January 20, 2016) – TMEIC Corporation introduced the first of a series of all-day technical seminars focused on Medium Voltage (MV) motors and variable frequency drives this January. The program was debuted during a well-attended presentation in Atlanta, GA. Developed for end users, consultants and OEM’s, the in-depth, daylong seminar is an abbreviated version of TMEIC’s popular week-long MV System’s School that is held annually.

The seminars are interactive, productive and informative sessions that keep the industry driving forward. TMEIC experts can be a resource for the entire industry and the goal of the Technical Seminars is to share expert knowledge with customers, as well as engineers who may or may not currently use TMEIC solutions. To date, the events have proven extremely popular with engineers and technicians who make critical choices on the design and selection criteria of their systems.

TMEIC’s technical seminars commonly cover:

  • MV Induction and Synchronous motors
  • Variable Frequency Drives (VFD)
  • Tips and shortcuts of how to apply VFDs and motor for specific applications
  • Selected applications of the various products

In addition to the classes introduced in Atlanta this month, two new TMEIC products were introduced to participants. The TMdrive-MVe2 VFD and the TM21-G family of induction motors were both released late last year and have performed well in industries including metals, oil & gas, paper, material handling, mining, chemicals, cement, and power generation. The solutions are primarily used for driving pumps, compressors, fans, mine hoists and conveyors.

Additional MV Technical Seminars are scheduled for 2016 throughout North America. Reserve your seat for these popular free seminars. Contact Jim Seidel, TMEIC channel partner manager, by phone at 636-578-9887 or by email at Contact Us to find a technical seminar near you.
