TMdrive-10e3 Low Voltage AC System Drive

The TMdrive-10e3 is a low voltage, IGBT inverter, AC system drive for control of variable speed AC induction motors.  It is the newest drive in the TMdrive-10 series drive family offering reliability, simple configuration and maintenance, low cost of ownership, and a compact design

The TMdrive-10e3 features the new “e3 Control” for the next generation of TMdrive-10 series drives.  The new control system uses IoT technology to significantly boost plant productivity through enhanced connectivity to drive systems, enabling real-time visualization of plant data.

Improved connectivity and visualization of operating data through digital technology

  • Ethernet ports enable data streaming of the drive’s internal signal to the upper network in addition to standard connection to adjustment tools.
  • Fast Fourier Transform (FFT) analysis of any signal in the drive mechanism and output provides detailed analytical results. 
  • Visualization of operating data without affecting actual operation, improving predictive and preventive maintenance, and contributing to stable plant operation.    

Enhanced accessibility

  • The e3 Control allows for enhanced accessibility in motor drive systems and also strengthens log functionality.
  • The TMdrive-Monitor web-based monitoring application makes viewing operating status and fault signals from a PC or smartphone browser easy.   

Enhanced motor drive control function

  • Innovation in TMEIC’s robust motor drive control technology offers improvements in applications. Synchronous control using a time server on the network helps achieve a high level of speed uniformity for motors on the production line.  The Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) carrier can perform up to a maximum of 6kHz, driving expectations of high-speed current control.    
  • The e3 Control can be adapted to support various safety functions, meeting the international standard IEC 61800-5-2 such as Safety Torque Off (STO), Safety Stop (SS1), and Safety Braking Control (SBC).
